The Fulton County Health Department provides clinical breast exams, pelvic exams, and pap screening to women who are not in need of birth control methods. These services have been made possible in part by a grant from The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation - Peoria Memorial Affliate. Additional funding is provided by The Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Project. Women's Health Clinics are held monthly at the Fulton County Health Department, 700 E Oak Street in  Canton.

The goal of these programs run by women for women is the prevention of and early diagnosis of disease and to promote healthy lifestyles in Fulton County women.

CLINIC SCHEDULE

Women's Health Clinics are held the 4th Wednesday of every month. Additionally  evening clinics are scheduled quarterly through a collaborative partnership with Graham Hospital.  Please call 647-1134 ext. 244 M-F 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. for an appointment.

Four times each year we partner with Graham Hospital to conduct evening clinics which make our services more accessible to the working women of Fulton County. Clinics at Graham Hospital are based on the "one stop shop" concept offering busy women the opportunity to receive both exams and a mammogram in one visit. An appointment is needed and fees for these services are based on income.

In addition, the Fulton County Health Department provides free mammograms to age and income eligible women through the co-sponsorship of mammogram vans at various locations in Fulton County throughout the year.
