The American Cancer Society recommends that men 40 years of age or older should have an annual exam as part of their general cancer checkup. Canton: Wednesdays from 8:00am-3:30pm and Thursdays from 8:00am-3:30pm. Walk In basis.

Astoria: Wednesdays from 9:00am-Noon. By Appointment only. Call 309-329-2922

BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING

The Fulton County Health Department holds regular clinics for persons who wish to have a blood pressure screening or who are monitoring their blood pressure.Blood pressure screenings are done in conjunction with our lab days.

 Canton: The second and fourth Monday of each month from 8:00am-3:30pm. No appointment is necessary

 Astoria: Wednesdays from 9:00am-Noon on a  walk in basis.

CHOLESTEROL SCREENING

A fasting blood lipid blood draw provides a reading on cholesterol, tryglycerides, HDL/LDL, glucose, and hemoglobin. There is a fee for this service. A blood draw is offered on the second and fourth Mondays of the month. Call 647-1134, ext. 254 for details.
